About our Equipment

Craig designed and made the first BIG KAHUNA HUT® for his catering company BIG KAHUNA STREET FOOD® back in 2009. Made as there was nothing at the time that you could buy that suited the professional street food trader. There were trailers and gazebos but nothing substantial for someone wanting a unique build up with certain qualities and specification.

Craig wanted it to have certain features and build qualities:

• Chef to be at customers eye level
• Be extremely versatile in branding and equipment – 5 stalls in one.

• Flat pack, portable and only take one person to set up
• Strong, Durable, Weather proof, Wind Proof & basically built to last.

We now provide:

ADVICE: We built these for ourselves and still cater at events so have a broad knowledge of equipment and food types. We can help you with size, style, equipment and anything you need to know to select the right equipment for your application.

DESIGN: Our original hut design isn’t the only thing we can do. We can make the huts any shape, size, colour or even change the roof. We also make carts, German Christmas market stalls, kiosks, pop up gazebo surrounds and much more. We can give you advice on any designs or ideas you have.

BUILD: We have full control over the build as the entire hut is made in house. A hut generally takes 3 weeks from design to delivery.

BRAND: We offer a full branding service even down to design. We can supply signs, banners, menu boards, flyers, flags and much more supplying you with a fully loaded set up.

DELIVER: We can deliver by courier to your door or we can supply a personal delivery and set up for your first event.

SUPPORT: We also offer on-going support to all our customers. Any advice you need even after your purchase, not even directly about the hut we would be happy to help with your new business.
